West Region DEU Application Procedures

HOW TO APPLY:  
Prepare an application using any written format that contains all the information required in OF 510, Applying for a Federal Job (link below).  For example,

  1. Resume (be sure to indicate if you are claiming veterans preference), OR

  2. OF 612, Optional Application for Federal Employment, OR

  3. SF 171, Application for Federal Employment 

In addition, you are required to submit the following information/documentation:

  1. Your social security number and citizenship must be identified on your application

  2. College transcripts (copies accepted) must be included if you are using your college education to qualify for a position

  3. SF-15, Application for 10 Point Veteran’s Preference, and required documentation if you are claiming 10 point veteran’s preference

  4. Written response to Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) or Tasks listed in the announcement

By e-mail to DEU@cpocwcp.hua.army.mil.  To submit a resume by e-mail, type the announcement number (WTXX03123456D) on the subject line of the e-mail.  Prepare your resume as part of the body of the e-mail message.  Attachments CANNOT be accepted or opened.   If you send an attachment, your resume will not be accepted.  After submitting your resume by e-mail, remember to mail any additional required forms (i.e. college transcripts, SF-15 and supporting documentation) to the address above.  Failure to submit all required documents and information requested by the closing date of the announcement may result in your not receiving full consideration.  Your qualifications are evaluated solely on the information submitted in your resume.
